The ISO 14785 standard defines the requirements for tourist information booking services and tourist booking information and is used to improve performance as well as create a competitive advantage between hotel booking offices, travel agencies and tour booking offices.

ISO 14785 establishes minimum quality requirements for services provided by tourist information offices (TIO) of any type and size, whether publicly or privately operated, in order to satisfy visitors’ expectations.
